Express Bi-Folding Doors are recognised in the UK as the market’s leading company for manufacturing and installing high quality aluminium glazing systems. We are expanding and recruiting an exceptional Showroom Manager for our brand-new Milton Keynes location.
As Showroom Manager, you’ll take ownership of the showroom’s commercial and operational performance. You’ll lead your team, deliver outstanding customer consultations, and ensure every visitor leaves informed, confident, and excited about transforming their home. With strong leadership and hands-on, customer-first selling, you’ll drive sales, elevate local brand presence, and maintain the company’s reputation for exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and motivate the showroom sales team to meet sales, margin, and conversion targets.
- Foster a consultative, customer-first approach — building trust without pressure selling.
- Oversee all day-to-day showroom operations including staffing, rotas, customer appointments, and overall presentation.
- Support marketing initiatives to boost footfall, local engagement, and brand awareness.
- Conduct and oversee in-showroom consultations, ensuring accurate, tailored quotations are provided.
- Ensure all quotations are transparent, precise, and aligned with post-survey orders to prevent variations or disputes.
- Build strong product and technical knowledge across the team, including understanding of building regulations and performance standards.
- Partner with survey and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery from sale through aftercare.
- Maintain high standards in all customer communication — prompt, professional, and friendly.
- Drive CRM best practice, ensuring meticulous recording of leads, quotes, and follow-ups.
- Support team development through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Proven experience managing a sales-led showroom or retail sales team.
- Ideally, experience in windows, doors, or related technical building products.
- Experience in consultative or technical sales management would be desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercially minded, with experience in solution selling and KPI management.
- Proficiency with CRM systems.
- Solid technical understanding of product performance and relevant building regulations.
- A high level of attention to detail.
