About the role

This newly created position within our client's Employment Team presents an excellent opportunity for someone eager to continue building their career within employment law. The team prides itself on its supportive, open-door culture, where paralegals and solicitors work closely together. As part of a close-knit group, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of matters, supporting both employer and employee clients.
Below are some of the day-to-day responsibilities:
- Managing your own caseload of employment law matters
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, staff handbooks, policies, and settlement agreements.
- Preparing tribunal documentation, including responses, witness statements, and bundles.
- Conducting legal research and providing clear, concise summaries to support client advice.
- Handling client queries directly, maintaining regular communication and building strong working relationships.
- Reviewing and organising disclosure documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting the team with complex cases and contributing to strategy discussions.
- Assisting with business development initiatives, including preparing client updates, social media articles, and presentations.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2+ years of experience within Employment Law
- First-class communicator, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
- Professional Legal Qualifications/Law Degree
- Ability to manage own caseload unsupervised
- Hunger to progress, and work under tight deadlines
