Our client is recruiting an Automotive Technical Support Specialist to join their Aftersales technical function on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Technical Support Team Manager, this role is based in Milton Keynes and plays a key role in supporting a nationwide, multi-brand dealer network.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the centre of technical problem-solving within a rapidly evolving automotive environment, supporting modern vehicle technologies including electrified and digitally enabled platforms.

• Provide high-quality technical support and fault resolution to a multi-brand dealer network using approved diagnostic systems and contact platforms.
• Deliver remote diagnostics, structured technical guidance, and on-site dealer support when required in response to technical enquiries.
• Take full ownership of technical cases, applying a customer-centric approach while meeting global quality and response-time targets.
• Proactively drive case resolution through remote support or hands‑on repair coaching.
• Collaborate closely with customer service teams, technical service centres, training functions, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve technical support processes, ensuring dealers are equipped to determine optimal and efficient solutions for customers.
• Promote preventative measures as well as corrective actions, leveraging technology and best practice to reduce repeat issues.

• Demonstrated success in diagnosing complex faults across a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Broad experience in all aspects of vehicle repair and technical troubleshooting.
• Master Technician qualification as a minimum requirement;
  High Voltage or electric vehicle certification is highly desirable.
• Strong IT and analytical skills, with confidence using diagnostic software and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
• Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of managing multiple technical cases simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
