Technical Project Manager; Network

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects within a fast‑paced retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project manager who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of network and infrastructure projects, from initiation through to handover.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting in line with PRINCE2 methodologies.
• Coordinate internal teams, third‑party vendors, and network engineers to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee deployment, upgrade, and migration of network solutions, primarily using Cisco technologies.
• Ensure projects align with ITIL service management practices and operational readiness.
• Communicate effectively with retail business stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations.
• Maintain clear documentation, governance, and change control throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering network‑focused projects in a technical project management role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco products and network technologies.
• Solid understanding and practical application of PRINCE2 and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience working within the retail sector, ideally supporting multi‑site or store‑based environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (highly desirable).
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• ITIL Foundation or higher.
