Position: Technical Project Manager (Network)
Technical Project Manager – Hybrid – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure projects within a fast-paced retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong project manager who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of network and infrastructure projects, from initiation through to handover

Lead project planning, scheduling, risk management, and reporting in line with PRINCE2 methodologies

Coordinate internal teams, third-party vendors, and network engineers to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

Oversee deployment, upgrade, and migration of network solutions, primarily using Cisco technologies

Ensure projects align with ITIL service management practices and operational readiness

Communicate effectively with retail business stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations

Maintain clear documentation, governance, and change control throughout the project lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering network-focused projects in a technical project management role

Strong knowledge of Cisco products and network technologies

Solid understanding and practical application of PRINCE2 and ITIL frameworks

Experience working within the retail sector, ideally supporting multi-site or store-based environments

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Desirable Qualifications

CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification (highly desirable)

PRINCE2 Practitioner certification

ITIL Foundation or higher
