Overview

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care to our clients to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, bubbly & energetic nurse nurses to look after a 17-year-old girl in her own home with previous experience of providing person centred care for children/adults with learning disabilities and experience with managing seizures.

The role will involve sensory & play therapy alongside a variety of activities such as bike rides, swimming & walks in the park with our client.

• 21:00 - 08:00 (Nights)
• 15:00 - 21:00 (Weekdays)
• 08:00 - 18:00 (Weekends)

• Weekday Rate: £33
• Weekday Nights: £35
• Weekend Day: £35
• Weekend Nights: £36

• Provide 1:1 & 2:1 care to the patient in their own home
• Build rapport with family members and other staff members
• Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced

• A minimum of 12 months UK experience in the last two years working closely with people with clinical complex needs

• Manual Handling
• Ensure care plans and other information are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads
• Supporting clients outside the home when required (e.g., medical appointments, family trips and days out)
