Job Description

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a small, friendly, and well-established open rehabilitation service supporting adults with complex mental health needs. This part-time position offers the chance to lead clinical care alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

Salary: Around £160,000 FTE + £5000 car allowance

Location: Milton Keynes

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Assess, treat, and safely discharge patients
• Lead CPA and ICR processes to ensure compliance
• Manage psychiatric medication prescribing and reviews
• Collaborate with NHS clinicians and external stakeholders
• Ensure delivery of NICE guidelines and quality standards
• Support complaints handling and co-production initiatives

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

• Full GMC registration and licence to practice
• MRCPsych or international equivalent
• Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status
• Strong experience in general adult psychiatry
• Confidence managing complex mental health presentations
