If you're someone who genuinely enjoys bringing structure, control and clarity to transactional finance, this Part Qualified Accountant role offers real ownership. You'll take the lead across AP, AR and cash processes, ensuring money in and out of the business is handled accurately, on time and with minimal risk exposure. With study support and a great progression path into a fully qualified Commercial Accountant/Finance business Partner role.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Milton Keynes within the Financial Services sector, giving you the chance to manage end-to-end processes while working closely with operational and finance stakeholders.

As a Part Qualified Accountant, you won't just oversee processing. You'll drive improvements, strengthen controls and act as the go-to person for all things transactional.

• Overseeing the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycle closing month end
• Managing bank reconciliations and cash allocation processes
• Leading balance sheet reconciliations and resolving aged items
• Ensuring month-end deadlines are met accurately and consistently
• Acting as main contact for transactional queries across the business
• Supporting quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
• Strengthening internal controls and maintaining audit-ready documentation
• Coaching and guiding Accounts Assistants within the team
• Working cross-functionally to ensure smooth handling of customer payments and refunds

• A progressive finance professional with strong experience running AP and AR processes in a busy finance environment and eager to commence/continue ACCA, CIMA or ACA studies
• Confident managing reconciliations and clearing complex ledger items
• Comfortable improving processes and tightening controls
• Clear communicator who can work with both finance and operations teams
• Detail-focused, organised and proactive
