Our ClientOur client is a small, successful personal taxation firm established in 2008 by an industry tax expert. They pride themselves on offering a truly personal service treating every client as an individual and taking the time to understand their circumstances, ambitions, and goals.
The RoleWe’re looking for a capable and motivated Tax Accountant to join this growing private client team. The work is varied and rewarding, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts. You’ll handle both compliance and advisory work, covering a wide range of personal tax matters.

Key Responsibilities- Manage annual compliance for a portfolio of HNW individuals, non-doms, family offices, and trusts
- Provide ad hoc and planning advice across areas such as:
- Capital Gains Tax (including property and marital cases)
- Inheritance Tax and estate planning
- Trusts and Estate tax returns and periods of administration
- Foreign income and residency issues
- Investment reliefs (EIS/SEIS)
- Build trusted client relationships and identify tax-efficient planning opportunities
- Collaborate closely with senior advisers and contribute to the firm’s continued success
You’ll be a qualified Tax Accountant (ideally ATT or equivalent) with proven experience in personal tax. You’ll combine strong technical knowledge with an approachable, client-focused style and a real eye for detail.
You Will Be- A qualified tax professional
- A confident problem‑solver who enjoys taking ownership and seeing things through
- Methodical, organised and accurate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently as part of a small, collaborative team
- A self‑starter with integrity, professionalism, and a positive outlook
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Around 10 hours per week, worked flexibly on a permanent, part‑time basis
- £35,000 – £40,000 FTE*, depending on experience
- Mainly remote, with occasional (monthly) visits to the Milton Keynes office
