Monday-Friday | 37.5 Hours + Overtime | Technical Field Role

• £30,000 - £42,000 DOE
• 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday + overtime available
• Door‑to‑door travel paid, company van + fuel card + phone + tablet
• 3x Death in Service + enhanced DBS requirement

Established critical‑power specialist with 30+ years' experience supplying, installing and maintaining UPS, generators and emergency‑power systems. Provides design, installation, commissioning and maintenance for critical‑power solutions across the UK. Works with hospitals, emergency services, central/local government and commercial organisations. Known for reliability, strong technical depth and long‑term customer relationships, backed by 24/7 engineer‑led technical support.

• Hands‑on UPS engineering with installation, servicing, diagnostics and commissioning
• Strong in‑house technical support and knowledge base
• Stable employer supporting essential service sectors (primarily healthcare)
• Autonomy within your field role, with training on specific systems and products

• Installation and commissioning of UPS systems and critical‑power equipment
• Servicing, maintenance and repairs across UPS units and backup‑power systems
• Battery builds, replacements and testing, with batteries forming a major part of their product offering
• Customer visits primarily within hospital environments, plus occasional government/emergency‑service sites requiring an enhanced DBS check

• Direct UPS experience - must hit the ground running
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and confident communication
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and 21+ for insurance

Field‑based role covering your regional patch, mainly supporting hospital and critical‑service customers, with travel managed within your area.
