Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Maintenance Engineer role within a leading FMCG manufacturing group. Based in Milton Keynes with a 3 on/3 off shift pattern (days and nights). Salary: £59,000 + Pension + Benefits.

• Reactive and preventative maintenance on canning and bottling lines, including equipment such as Tetra Pak, 2 Krones canning lines, and a Krones PET line.
• Work with Siemens fault finding and advanced PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Contribute to ongoing technical development to support longer-term career prospects within the group.
• Collaborate with the engineering team (30 staff: 1 team leader and 3 engineers per shift) to maintain production lines and support capacity improvements.

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience of PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.
• Multi-skilled engineer; electrical bias preferred, but candidates with strong electrical skills in a mainly mechanical background will be considered.
