Aspion Search is partnering with a well-established food manufacturer in Milton Keynes; they are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to help maximise uptime and drive continuous improvement across a highly automated site.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will deliver preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns on a wide range of automated equipment, with a strong focus on electrical fault‑finding, controls and drives.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly to minimise unplanned downtime
- Investigate root causes and implement robust, long‑term fixes
- Maintain and improve control systems (PLCs, HMIs, VSDs/inverters, sensors, safety circuits)
- Complete planned maintenance and statutory checks to schedule
- Uphold site safety, hygiene and quality standards at all times
- Collaborate with operations, escalating unresolved issues where needed
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering (e.g. C&G, HNC);
Multiskilled mechanically is a plus - Strong electrical fault‑finding in fast‑paced, automated environments (2+ years)
- Hands‑on experience with PLCs/HMIs, inverters/VSDs, servo motors, control panels, sensors, and safety circuits
- Exposure to SCADA and basic instrumentation/pneumatics (desired)
- HACCP Level 2/3, IOSH or NEBOSH (desired)
- Food industry experience (desired)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
