Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Bury St Edmunds / Salary £55,000

Applicants must be local residents to be considered for this role. Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients maintenance team. This position suits an engineer experienced in electrical work within heavy industrial environments.

Shift: Full-time, Panama shift (6am6pm, days & nights) Salary:
Up to Salary £55,000 5% performance bonus after 6 months Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical production equipment Work with motors, inverters, wiring, PLCs, sensors, control panels, and industrial automation systems Assist with new equipment installation and commissioning Keep accurate maintenance and electrical records Support continuous improvement projects Ensure all work is carried out following Health & Safety standards; flexibility for on-call duties is required Requirements:
Qualified in Electrical or Industrial Engineering Proven experience in heavy industrial electrical maintenance Competence with: PLCs Inverters/drives Motors & wiring Electrical control systems Strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out, Safe Isolation, Working at Height, Permit to Work, Confined Space, ATEX/DSEAR Contact:
