About the Role
A supportive and ambitious primary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about high-quality learning and committed to helping pupils develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver stimulating, well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring the needs of all learners are met
Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, using data to shape future planning and targeted support
Encourage pupils to think independently, develop problem-solving skills, and engage confidently with their learning
Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to wider school development
Build effective relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and wellbeing
Take an active role in staff meetings, school activities, and ongoing professional development
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching KS2
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching and assessment methods
A commitment to supporting pupils to become motivated, independent learners
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reflective, proactive, and eager to engage in continuous professional development
