We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Milton Keynes. This role is about more than just teaching music—it’s about nurturing creativity, encouraging students to express themselves through music, and helping them develop a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5

Develop and deliver a diverse music curriculum that supports students of all abilities

Promote musical creativity, performance skills, and music appreciation through practical and theoretical lessons

Lead extracurricular music activities, including school concerts, music clubs, and performances

Encourage students to express themselves through music while building confidence and teamwork

Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and continually improve the music curriculum

Contribute to school-wide activities and enrichment programmes that promote the importance of the arts

Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it

A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field

Previous experience teaching music at secondary level

A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students of all musical abilities

Strong classroom management skills and excellent communication abilities

Energetic, innovative, and student-focused

Open to both full-time and part-time opportunities
