Technician​/Technologist; Architecture

We are hiring for a continually expanding practice with an opportunity for a Senior Technologist to join and help grow their local and national reputation.

The role will be primarily working in the high-end private residential sector, extensively on contemporary AND conservation projects.

We have high expectations of our new recruit: as an integral part of the design team the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and experience in key areas of the design process, including project inception, project planning, and contract management.

They will also demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on information when needed.

We are looking for someone with the right positive attitude to become a key member of our dedicated team of professionals and help drive the Practice forward.

• Understand a client brief.
• Arrive at a suitable design solution in conjunction with other team members.
• Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings to current Building Regulations standard.
• Progress details through approval process.
• Produce detailed works instructions, material specifications and schedules of work.
• Record and manage drawing registers.
• Liaise with installation teams, sub-contract suppliers, clients and suppliers.
