Customer Operations Specialist
Location:
Tongwell – Fully Office Based
Hours:
37.5 hours per week | 09:00–17:00 (30 mins lunch + 15 mins break)
Duration: 12-month contract (initially)
Rate: £14.77 per hour
Start: TBC
We’re recruiting for a proactive and adaptable Customer Operations Specialist to join a busy contact centre team in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.
The RoleYou’ll be cross‑trained across multiple operational areas, providing support where it’s needed most. Handling inbound customer queries via phone and email, you’ll move fluidly between teams during peak periods and high‑priority situations to ensure smooth service delivery.
You’ll also support with customer escalations, using your calm, professional approach to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a strong customer‑first focus.
What We’re Looking For- Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment (Financial Services experience desirable)
- Confident managing high volumes and changing priorities
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- A flexible team player who thrives under pressure
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (FCA, DPA, AML, Code of Conduct, etc.)
