Brand New Children's Residential Home - Opening March 2026
Salary: £31,500 - £35,500 per annum
Full-Time / Part-Time | Rota-based (Days & Waking Nights)

We are proud to be growing and opening a brand new children's residential home in March 2026, designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment for children and young people up to the age of 17. We are now recruiting passionate and experienced Senior Residential Care Workers to join us ahead of opening and help shape the culture, standards, and future of the home from day one.

As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will play a vital leadership role within the home and support the Registered and Deputy Managers to deliver outstanding care.
Key responsibilities- Act as a positive role model and shift leader for the team
- Create a warm, safe, and stable home environment
- Support children and young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
- Take key-worker responsibility and contribute to care planning and reviews
- Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support behaviour
- Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and professionals
- Ensure safeguarding, recording, and handovers meet high standards
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are passionate about residential childcare and child-centred care
- Are calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
- Enjoy leading, supporting, and developing others
- Have strong communication and written skills
- Want to grow with a new service and be part of its journey
- Minimum age: 22 years
- Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
- Ability to work rota-based shifts including days and waking nights
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
- salary of £31,500 - £35,500 per annum
