Senior Strategy Consultant - Credit Cards/Banking

We are seeking a senior Strategy Support Manager to work closely with the Head of Cards Strategy, providing high-quality strategic, commercial, and governance support across key cards initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with a consulting or strategy background who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident operating at senior stakeholder level, and can independently drive complex work streams from concept through delivery.

• Provide direct strategic support to the Head of Cards Strategy, including development of senior-level papers, presentations, and recommendations for executive forums
• Lead and coordinate governance processes underpinning cards initiatives, including:
• Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
• Cards management and governance forums
• Own end-to-end project coordination across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment, pace, and delivery against strategic priorities
• Translate strategic objectives into clear actions, requirements, and deliverables for teams across the bank
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for senior management, committees, and governance bodies
• Act as a central point of coordination, ensuring consistent messaging, decision tracking, and follow-through

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess, articulate, and support strategic decisions
• Experience working in consulting, strategy, or a similar advisory role, ideally within financial services or payments
• Comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and communicate clearly
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and maintain momentum without close supervision
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong track record of producing executive-level materials
• High energy, resilient, and able to operate at pace across multiple priorities

• Background in management consulting, internal strategy, or transformation roles
• Experience supporting senior leaders or executive committees
• Strong structuring skills and attention to detail, combined with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
• Confident, credible, and collaborative, with a natural ability to bring structure to complex topics
