UK Business Manager - Business Development

The Company

My client is looking for a strategic, dynamic, successful and ambitious UK Business Manager to develop and deliver business growth strategy and facilitate the effective development of sun shielding / sun shading and blinds solutions into UK commercial and high-end residential markets.

The Role

This is a rare and fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager, who is looking for their next step; you will join a well-established global business and brand and be an integral part of growth delivery in the UK, in an influential, central leadership role, securing and sustaining growth in the commercial and high end residential sun shielding / sun shading and blinds market.

* You will take end-to-end ownership of the UK market, with a focus on winning major projects and converting specifications, gaining important market share from your competitors.

* Building strong, value-added relationships with manufacturers, fabricators, and system integrators, leveraging relationships and market knowledge to optimise opportunities for growth and market share.

* Proactively targeting, qualifyling and winning new project and partner opportunities across the UK.

* Building and converting opportunities through effective specification, tendering and negotiation.

* Identify opportunities in commercial, education, healthcare, hospitality and high end residential markets.

* Develop business plans, pricing frameworks and growth strategies.

* Work closely with consultants, architects, façade engineers and M&E contractors.

* Control commercial performance; revenue, margin, pricing discipline.

The Candidate

* Successful and track record in strategic Business Development roles, within the sun shielding / sun shading and high-end residential blinds markets.

* Demonstrable success in winning projects through specification and key account development.

* Excellent commercial skill and acumen; pricing, negotiation and deal strategy.

* Strong technical ability within the sun shielding / sun shading and high end residential blinds market.

* A proactive, driven hunter with outstanding relationship development and growth skills.
