Overview

Fleet Sales Manager – Full time

Location:

United Kingdom, Milton Keynes

We are looking for someone to lead our UK Fleet business — a core part of how we deliver fuel and EV solutions to customers across the country. Our fleet operation contributes a significant share of fuel volumes into our retail network and plays an important role in growing the use of bp pulse’s EV charging infrastructure. We work across Direct and Indirect channels, support a wide range of corporate and SME customers, and partner with major card and cross‑acceptance providers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the UK Fleet business and shape its direction in collaboration with Commercial Fuels, Retail, and bp pulse.
  • Take shared accountability for fuel and EV volume and margin performance.
  • Shape pricing strategies using market and customer insight.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through Salesforce.
  • Deliver in‑year targets across third‑party and cross‑acceptance partners.
  • Strengthen senior‑level relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Represent bp in the UK transport sector and industry forums.
  • Bring teams together across Commercial, Retail, bp pulse, and Midstream.
  • Support, coach, and develop the fleet sales team.
What We Look For
  • Experience leading sales teams and helping people perform at their best.
  • Confidence building and delivering commercial plans.
  • Strength in pricing, margin optimisation, and commercial decision‑making.
  • Knowledge of the UK Transport and Fleet market, or similar complex B2B environments.
  • The ability to influence senior decision‑makers and navigate partner ecosystems.
  • Strong financial understanding and comfort with modelling tools and business cases.
  • Clear communication, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build trust.
  • Adaptability and confidence using digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and visit the Milton Keynes office when needed.
