An influential national business is seeking an FP and A Business Partner to become the financial voice within key operational areas, translating performance data into commercial strategy and influencing senior-level decisions.

This role goes beyond traditional analysis and it is part of the manufacturing and production industry. You ll partner directly with department heads to shape priorities, challenge assumptions, and drive smarter resource allocation. With three days per week in Milton Keynes and two remote, you ll have genuine flexibility alongside strong career prospects.

You ll own the financial relationship with specific business units, guiding leaders through planning cycles, evaluating investment cases, and spotting performance issues early. The organisation is modernising its finance function, creating real scope for you to enhance reporting tools and elevate how insight drives decisions across the business.

• Building trusted partnerships with operational leaders as their primary source of financial guidance and commercial challenge
• Testing assumptions and providing confident recommendations on resource allocation and strategic choices
• Analysing performance trends, flagging variances early, and proposing actionable solutions
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities for your assigned areas
• Developing dashboards and self-serve analytics to improve how stakeholders consume financial information
• Driving cross-functional projects that enhance finance processes, systems, and overall capability
