About this Role
As National Sales Manager, also known as a Senior Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in growing our Critical Power and Renewable Energy offering across the UK. This role sits at the heart of our Energy Solutions business, focusing on critical power rental, temporary power, and high voltage applications that keep essential infrastructure running.
Leading national business development activity within critical power and renewable energy markets
Identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities across data centres, utilities, infrastructure, and energy projects
Promoting the hire of critical power assets including loadbanks, transformers, high voltage systems, and temporary power solutions
Building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline aligned to long-term growth
Acting as a trusted commercial partner to customers with complex power requirements
You are commercially driven, technically curious, and comfortable operating in a specialist market where relationships and credibility matter. You enjoy spotting opportunities, understanding customer challenges, and shaping solutions that deliver real value.
Proven experience in business development within the critical power rental sector
Strong understanding of the critical power market, including high voltage project specifications and applications
Experience working within renewable energy environments or adjacent energy sectors
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Analytical and proactive, using market insight to shape your approach and exceed targets
