Please note industrial placements are only applicable for university students and will be a 12‑month fixed‑term contract commencing summer 2026 and ending summer 2027.

How you'll play your part: Are you looking to gain practical experience and make a meaningful impact within customer operations? We offer an exciting opportunity to join us as a Process Improvement & Governance Support Industrial Placement, where you will play a key role in projects that ensure seamless and efficient processes.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with subject‑matter experts across various departments to map, review, and optimise business processes, providing valuable insights that drive operational performance improvements. You will be actively involved in documenting and streamlining processes while gaining a comprehensive understanding of how an organisation functions with the Quality and Operational team.
Main Accountabilities- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather valuable insights and details, helping to create clear and comprehensive process maps and documentation.
- Map and review business processes to identify opportunities for improvement, addressing gaps or inconsistencies that can streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Take detailed notes during key meetings, capturing important decisions and tracking action points, ensuring they are completed effectively and on time.
- Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, contributing to the structure that drives operational excellence.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness, completing tasks with precision and adhering to deadlines, ensuring smooth workflow and high‑quality outcomes.
- Drive innovation by identifying and contributing to process improvements, making a meaningful impact on the organisation’s overall performance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills, ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained, even in high‑pressure situations.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of interacting professionally and efficiently with a diverse group of stakeholders, including subject‑matter experts and senior management.
- Logical and analytical thinking, enabling the identification of opportunities for process optimisation and improvement.
- Proficiency in producing clear and concise documentation to support both process governance and decision‑making.
- A proactive approach to tasks, ensuring alignment with the organisation's operational objectives.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (such as Visio) is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarise and present complex processes in a clear and accessible manner.
