EPOS Executive – “Exciting Leisure and Entertainment Venue”
Location:
Milton Keynes
Are you looking to step into a role at the heart of day-to-day trading, where you’ll keep EPOS systems running smoothly, prices and promotions spot on, and data accurate across the business. To provide dedicated EPOS support to the business by updating, maintaining and managing all stock, price keys, promotions, security settings and web setup across EPOS platforms. You will also support the Commercial & EPOS Manager with supplier relationships, contracts and commercial data.
Responsibilities- Process EPOS requests within agreed timescales, ensuring high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Add and amend EPOS data on head office systems, maintaining clean, consistent records.
- Keep an up-to-date log of all EPOS requests and changes using helpdesk software.
- Complete EPOS checklists thoroughly and to the expected quality.
- Update and maintain all stock files, price keys, promotions, security settings and web setup across Zonal and Qubica EPOS systems.
- Set and manage applicability dates and timings for products and promotions in venue and online, including school holiday offers, and adjust when required.
- Support the rollout of the EPOS elements of marketing campaigns, ensuring that promotional activity is correctly configured and live on time.
- Log and report head office EPOS system faults to the system provider and help drive a swift resolution.
- Ensure all prices, specifications, supplier information and contracts are accurate and up to date across both suppliers and sites.
- Run and interpret required monthly reports from sales data to support commercial insight and decision‑making.
- Support and communicate with the Operations team, sharing up-to-date information on commercial agreements and EPOS changes.
- Act as an intermediary between Operations and suppliers where appropriate, helping to keep communication clear and aligned.
- Monitor and respond to emails in the EPOS mailbox in a timely, helpful manner.
- Previous experience administering a Zonal EPOS system.
- Confident using Office 365 applications, with solid skills in Excel including formula use.
- Strong planning and organisational abilities, with the discipline to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
- Detail‑focused, reliable and calm under pressure, with a genuine interest in keeping systems accurate and customers trading smoothly.
