Job Summary

BASEC, part of the Kiwa UK group, is seeking an organised and detail‑oriented Operations Administrator to provide administrative support to our BASEC laboratory and manage company‑wide invoicing. This is an office‑based position, located in Milton Keynes.

About

The Role
  • Manage laboratory administration, including raising job packs, updating sample statuses and checking completed test reports.
  • Coordinate with Technicians, Certification & Commercial Teams in relation to reports, client queries and sample selections.
  • Liaise with Logistics Technicians to ensure samples are received correctly and ready to test.
  • Load jobs into the BASEC management system.
  • Create failure records in our sales system, Sales Force.
  • Archive laboratory paperwork and electronic documents.
  • Liaise with import agents for clearing goods.
  • Assist the Senior Operations Administrator with invoicing activities.
  • Raise purchase orders.
  • Manage external training, laboratory supply orders, and sub‑contracted testing.

  • Proven experience in an administrative environment.
  • Strong organisation and project management expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and motivated attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality responsibilities.

  • £29,500 per annum
