Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic & well organised individual to provide general administrative support to the services based across all of the healthcare departments. We are a small, well integrated team pivotal to enabling quality health care to be delivered to our patient group. We liaise closely with the Prison and external agencies. We are seeking an individual with strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.

To provide general administrative support where needed across healthcare.

Job Responsibilities- Distribute post and ensure accurate correspondence distribution.
- Support timely processing and response to routine correspondence, including complaints and concerns.
- Deal with telephone enquiries, acting as first point of contact for the prison and external agencies.
- Process information from other agencies promptly and confidentially.
- Provide secretarial support using MS Word, MS Excel, C-NOMIS, and Systm One.
- Produce the daily patient movement list (PMMS).
- Respond to medical record requests within set timescales and local processes.
- Scan and file patient records as required.
- Assist in implementation of management information systems, inputting and extracting data.
- Provide administrative support for recruitment processes pre and post interview.
- Support, allocate, and schedule internal and external appointments.
- Order supplies including medical and stationery items.
- Liaise with internal and external agencies to maintain equipment and treatment areas.
- Provide statistical information and support data collection for core healthcare functions.
- Cover in other areas as required following discussion.
- General education to include O level or GCSE standard for English and Maths or equivalent.
- Previous office and administrative experience.
- Experience and knowledge of software programmes.
- Good standard of written and oral communication.
- Experience of working within an NHS department or secure settings environment.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload to meet deadlines and competing demands.
- Willing to develop own skills and knowledge.
- Ability to maintain quality in own work.
- Flexible and able to provide admin cover in all healthcare areas.
- Able to work autonomously and within a team.
