Logistic Analyst I
Location: Milpitas, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 1-year assignment with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Our client a leading technology leading in data storage solutions is seeking a detail-driven Logistic Analyst I to support end-to end shipment visibility and carrier performance management within the supply chain organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring on-time delivery performance (KPI adherence) by actively monitoring shipments, coordinating with logistics providers, and serving as the key liaison between external carriers and internal stakeholders
What You'll Be Doing
As a Supply Chain Planner / Logistic Analyst, you will:
- Monitor company shipments through final delivery to ensure KPI compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact between carriers and internal teams
- Track and evaluate logistics service provider performance
- Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews with providers
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Manage ad hoc logistics requests
- Arrange outbound shipments when needed
Required:
- 1 3 years of relevant supply chain/logistics experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Preferred (not required):
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management)
