The SaaS Engineering organization within the Cisco Networking Group is committed to revolutionizing the deployment of generative AI applications. You are a dynamic and innovative leader with a passion for driving technical excellence in software engineering. With significant experience and a deep understanding of applications from end‑to‑end—spanning browser interfaces, cloud services, and backend data stores—you excel in creating seamless and efficient systems. Your expertise with back‑end frameworks in production environments enables you to architect robust and scalable solutions. You possess strong problem‑solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results.

You will develop backend software for a production cloud service for Cisco Networking Engineering to simplify the deployment of generative AI applications, providing IT visibility and analytics across the entire AI infrastructure stack. You will design and develop features – from analyzing requirements and scoping to design execution with quality throughout the development and deployment pipeline for a CI/CD cloud service deployment.

• Bachelors + 7 years of related experience OR Masters + 4 years of related experience OR PhD + 1 year of related experience
• Experience with Go, C/C++, Java, and/or Python
• Experience with microservices software architecture and large scale distributed system
• Experience with Data structure, algorithms and design
• Experience working with cloud technologies like AWS, Google cloud and/or Azure.

• Experience with virtualized applications and their orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Experience with Data center networking.
