Exciting part-time opportunity for the right individual. Must be an energetic, detail oriented team player who can interact well with our guests. No experience necessary – we will train the right individual. The Joy Creator/Crafter will serve the crafting department, perform light cleaning, and handle clerical duties.

Candidate must have weekday and weekend availability and be willing to work holidays. This is a year‑round position.

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Joy Creator/Crafter creates a warm, welcoming environment for guests, offers creative solutions for unique celebratory occasions, and sells our delicious cakes. The Joy Creator/Crafter is the first point of brand contact in our bakery and serves an essential role to engage and bring joy to our guests, create a memorable experience, and leave a lasting impression.

• Promptly greet walk‑in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs, and follow NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles, and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point‑of‑sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping / mopping of the floor and dusting / cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.
• Replenish retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assemble cake and balloon orders according to guest specifications for the given celebration and follow NbC cake decorating and presentation standards with precision.
• Prioritize workload according to schedule to ensure all orders are completed at the appropriate pick‑up or delivery time, and craft all orders for walk‑in guests.
• Prepare cake decorations, boxes, bows and other packaging materials in advance to ensure requisite supplies are readily available for cake order demands.
• Monitor inventory of cake‑crafting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate frosted and decorated cakes to ensure NbC standards are met and notify management of any quality control issues.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
