Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1

We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can access the merchandise they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits, support daily operations, and help meet sales targets.

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty, leveraging your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in when needed to support the sales floor and assist the management team.
• Open and close the store as scheduled, ensuring security and readiness.
• Process sales transactions at the register, promote add-on sales, and utilize benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand store sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates, store layout, and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure security.
• Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness.
• Contribute to building a collaborative and passionate team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a love for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range: $18.20 - $20.95 per hour. Final salary depends on education, location, experience, and other factors.
