Veterinary Hospital Manager (RVT Preferred)

Companion Pet Partners is seeking a dynamic Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our high-volume, fast‑paced practice at Parktown Veterinary Clinic. The manager will oversee daily operations, staff, financial performance, and client experience while fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, ensuring exceptional animal care and client service.
  • Manage daily operations, scheduling, workflow optimization, and technology systems to maintain efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee financial stewardship: budget management, revenue oversight, accurate reporting, and identification of growth opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance standards: record‑keeping, regulatory quality, and veterinary practice regulations.
  • Collaborate with veterinary medical team to shape a culture emphasizing collaboration, professional development, and compassionate care.
  • Recruit, train, and retain staff, providing constructive feedback and creating a positive working environment.
  • Deliver a client‑centered experience: attentiveness, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications
  • Full‑time availability;
    Saturday shifts may be required.
  • 3+ years of veterinary Hospital Management experience (equivalent education and experience may be considered).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial data and make strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and developing high‑performing teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills, connecting effectively with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with practice management software (eVet) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for veterinary field and commitment to exceptional animal care.
  • Technician license (RVT) designation preferred;
    Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation a plus.
