Leadpoint Business Services has general labor positions available for at our location in Milpitas, CA. These labor positions work as a quality control employee outside at an organics recycling center. In this labor job, you hand-sort recyclable materials on a moving conveyor belt.
This is a full-time, permanent labor position doing work that helps the environment and protects the planet. You'll have the chance to start right away and move up over time.
Benefits for Laborer Sorter / Picker
This is a full-time job and weekly pay.
Pay range: $20.40 - $21.70
Schedule: 1st Shift 4am to 1230pm Tuesday to Saturday & 2nd Shift 1230pm to 9pm Monday to Friday
Schedule:
Organics/landfill - 7am to 330pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime and incentive pay may be available.
Benefits: health insurance, Holiday pay and paid sick time
You'll have opportunities to stay and move up the ladder.
Responsibilities of the Laborer Sorter / Picker
Identify recyclables and sort into appropriate bins
Lift up to 50 pounds
Keep your work area clean
Follow safety rules
Stand at a work station during your shift
Remove items from the conveyor belt
Requirements of the Laborer Sorter / Picker
Attention to Detail
Able to work assigned schedule
Ability to follow instruction
Complete required screening essential to the position
