Position: Field Application Engineer New College Graduate NCG

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be part of the account team supporting key customers. By working together with experienced storage professionals, the FAE team’s goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and company success through the entire product life cycle. With a senior team member’s supervision, the tasks will include but not limit to:

  • Responsible for technical relationships with the assigned customer. FAE is the go-to person as customer’s technical contacts.
  • Manage product qualifications and activities, like customer specification collection, sample arrangement, technical issue management and effective customer communication.
  • Responsible for handling the 1st level hands‑on debugging.
  • Coordinate and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent and advocate customer needs and priorities to internal teams.
Qualifications

Required:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3.5 GPA
  • Have desire to develop career in the storage industry
  • Effective communicator and interested in customer facing role
  • Strong team player
  • Basic understanding about computer hardware and software architectures
  • Familiar with Windows and/or Linux systems

Preferred:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management skills
