Software Engineer - DevOps

Job Summary
:
KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer within the Engineering team, you will automate and scale systems and services, collaborating closely with development teams to drive infrastructure automation and CI/CD projects to completion.

Responsibilities
:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement and oversee cloud infrastructure using IaC

• Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads

• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability

• Monitor infrastructure and respond to performance or security issues

• Collaborate with development teams to support software delivery

• Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and reliability across environments

Qualifications
:
Required
:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or similar

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible

• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Experience with scripting/programming using Python, Bash, or Power Shell

• Experience with version control and branching strategies (Git)

• Contribute to incident response, root cause analysis, and system improvements

• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking

• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years;

• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Preferred
:

• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Dev Ops Engineer, or Azure Dev Ops Engineer

• Exposure to microservices architecture

• Exposure to Dev Sec Ops  technologies

• Experience with secret management tools (Hashi Corp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault)

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Knowledge of Install Shield for software packaging and installer creation
