Debug Test Technician

Core Responsibilities

• Debug and troubleshoot down to electronic component level.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex PCBA boards.
• Knowledge of reading schematic diagrams and circuit functionality.
• Experience in digital electronics and repair/troubleshoot methodologies.

• Responsible for debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing failed high speed printed circuit cards down to the electronic component level.
• Responsible for down to component level debugging of RMA and production PC boards.
• Use electronic measuring tools such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, power meters, DC power supplies, frequency meters etc.
• Keep detailed records of the failure symptom, root cause, debug and provide written feedback to production for improvements.
• Perform testing of the PCA to analyze test parametric data and identify possible causes of failures.

• Strong knowledge of digital electronics and repair/troubleshoot methodologies.
• In depth knowledge of reading schematic diagrams and the circuit functionality.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with knowledge of quality standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers when required.
• Require a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex PCBA boards.
• Proficient in computer including MS Word and MS Excel.

• AS in Electronics Technician or equivalent.
• Test technician is able to follow acceptance Test Procedures.
• Able to debug and troubleshoot to component level and can interpret schematic diagram.
• Able to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Knowledge of spectrum analyzers, network analyzer, DVM signal generators, and power supplies.
• Able to set up and operate computer-based test equipment as per test procedure.
• At least 2 years PCBA Functional Test of Digital Signal Processing motherboards required.
• Will be required to work with and around AC electrical power.
