Interim Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance Consultant

Our client, a global hardware and manufacturing technology company, is seeking an Interim Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance Consultant to support its cost accounting function during a major ERP transformation.

This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations 3 days per week in Milpitas, CA. This engagement has an expected duration of 15-18 months.

• Maintain and analyze standard costs, bills of materials, and routing structures
• Lead monthly cost rollups and perform detailed variance analysis across labor, materials, and overhead
• Oversee inventory valuation processes, including cycle counts and physical inventory
• Support capitalization activities and manufacturing?related journal entries
• Act as a key finance partner during an SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation, supporting design, testing, and deployment
• Validate data and assist with process alignment between legacy systems and new ERP workflows
• Collaborate cross?functionally with IT, operations, and finance teams
• Partner with plant and operations leadership to drive cost control and operational financial insights
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis related to manufacturing activities

• 5+ years of progressive cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience
• Strong expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or hardware environments
• ERP experience (SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work hands?on with data and systems
