Job SummaryIn this role, you will actively partner with design teams to identify risks early, influence design improvements, and ensure robust product reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Create, edit, and validate Reliability Block Models using Relia Soft tools (Weibull++, Block Sim, XfRACAS).
- Develop and execute reliability test plans based on failure physics and scientific test design principles.
- Lead and facilitate FMEA activities and reliability modeling efforts.
- Evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing techniques from a reliability perspective.
- Design accelerated life tests and develop new acceleration methodologies.
- Analyze reliability data and provide statistically sound recommendations.
- Drive root cause discussions and recommend design or process improvements.
- Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams across 3–4 programs.
- Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, Material Science or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on reliability engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Reliability best practices
- Failure physics & materials science
- Accelerated testing methods
- FMEA and reliability block modeling
- Experience using Relia Soft (Weibull++, Block Sim, XfRACAS) or similar reliability tools.
- Experience with semiconductor capital equipment or E-beam systems would be a plus.
