Group/Division:
With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, KLA enables fabs to ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. The Global Products Group (GPG) creates all of KLA''s metrology and inspection products. The LS-SWIFT Division provides patterned wafer inspection systems for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing. LS (Laser Scanning) systems enable cost-effective defect detection for advanced process technologies. SWIFT (Simultaneous Wafer Inspection at Fast Throughput) systems provide all-wafer-surface macro inspection.

LS-SWIFT operates globally and serves customers across Asia, Europe and North America.

• Build and lead a team of software engineers to advance wafer inspection products through superior technology and modern software practices, including machine learning.
• Conceive, design and deploy robust, scalable software for high-volume production and real-time applications.
• Lead the transition to a next-generation software architecture while supporting existing features.
• Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of LS-SWIFT product software.
• Meet product timelines with high-quality software.
• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of contributing factors.
• Ensure detailed designs, code, and unit tests are robust, future-proof and scalable; propose design and architectural improvements.
• Learn newer software technologies independently; work with legacy frameworks while embracing modern technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional and cross-functional teams across geographical zones to deliver software solutions.
• Communicate effectively on technical and business topics.

• Strong programming skills in high-level languages: C#, C++, Java, Python.
• Strong knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
• Good knowledge of open-source software and varied technologies (web and thick client); understanding strengths and weaknesses of various software architectures.
• Passion for building and mentoring team members to realize their potential.
• Rational decision-making (technical or project-related).
• Good technical problem-solving skills.
• Functional manager experience is not a prerequisite.
• Preferred experience in semiconductor processing/equipment or product companies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills; self-driven and a strong team player.
• Understanding of high-performance computing and related technologies, including CPU/GPU performance analysis and basic machine learning.

Base Pay Range: $ - $ Annually.
