Job Description: The Electrical Design Engineer will design and develop electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for complex systems. This role owns the full electrical design lifecycle—from requirements and feasibility through detailed design, prototyping, testing, supplier coordination, and handoff to manufacturing. The ideal candidate is hands-on, system-focused, and experienced with advanced PCB and mixed-signal designs.
Responsibilities- Design electrical parts, modules, and subsystems supporting overall system architecture.
- Own end-to-end electrical design activities: requirements, feasibility, cost, scheduling, and detailed design.
- Perform circuit, timing, electrical load, thermal/cooling, and signal integrity analyses.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.
- Design and support rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs, including advanced and die-level components.
- Support designs involving Client, battery/Client, RF, and low-power MCU architectures.
- Execute prototype builds, system integration, and validation testing.
- Collaborate with ME, OE, SW, Systems, and Manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
- Prepare design documentation, drawings, and design review presentations.
- Manage suppliers and support issue resolution across development and production.
- Develop supporting documentation (assembly, test procedures, service manuals).
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical design experience in system-level products.
- Strong proficiency with Cadence OrCAD and Allegro.
- Proven experience with:
- Flex PCBs
- Client, battery/Client, RF, and low-power MCU designs
- Power distribution, signal integrity, and thermal management
- Experience with prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing handoff.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
