Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Cost Management
  • Support the analysis of procurement spend data to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive cost efficiency strategies.
Project Pipeline & Oversight
  • Develop and maintain project tracking tools for procurement initiatives.
  • Assist in the prioritization and management of the project pipeline.
  • Support regular project updates and stakeholder communications.
KPI/Dashboard Development
  • Design and develop dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement operations.
  • Analyze data trends to provide insights for decision‑making.
  • Automate reporting processes for enhanced visibility and efficiency.
Supplier Outreach
  • Orchestrate supplier events, including developing event content, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and meeting with vendors.
  • Ensure seamless execution of supplier engagements to foster collaboration and innovation.
Category Planning
  • Conduct market research to support category strategies.
  • Assist in the development of category plans and sourcing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on procurement planning activities.
Emotional Intelligence/EQ
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications Required
  • Current students seeking a Master’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, data analytics, or a related field with a graduation date between June‑September 2027.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting methodologies.
  • Understanding of supply chain management concepts.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and contract management tools is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
