We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a small, high-performing team based in Millville, NJ. This on-site leadership role will oversee a team of three, drive regional growth, and expand business within the glass and precision materials manufacturing space, with a focus on Life Sciences clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three sales professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
  • Drive regional sales strategy to grow revenue, deepen customer relationships, and expand business within Life Sciences and other core markets (Aerospace, Defense, Semiconductor).
  • Build strong, trust-based partnerships with customers through in-person visits and consultative selling.
  • Develop proposals, lead pricing discussions, and support contract negotiations.
  • Ensure the team effectively utilizes CRM and ERP systems for accurate pipeline visibility, reporting, and order management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, technical, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional customer service, on-time deliveries, and alignment with company goals.
  • Attend trade shows, customer visits, and networking events as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of sales experience in glass, ceramic, or related precision materials manufacturing, ideally selling into Life Sciences or high-tech markets.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small sales team.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with a consultative approach to selling.
  • Experience in strategic planning, KPI reporting, and CRM/ERP utilization.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 40–50% to meet with clients across the region.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
