Job Description
Position OverviewPerforms several maintenance functions within the tooling and mold maintenance team including repairing, maintaining, and cleaning molding equipment.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Supports production by maintaining all molds in a production ready state.
- Performs cleaning, tear-down, evaluation and repair of existing molds within the facility.
- Performs cavitation and insert changes on compatible molds.
- Documents cleanings, corrective actions, modifications, spare parts installed, and other relevant information for all molds within the facility using computer based systems (SAP).
- Conducts cleaning, lubrication and polishing of applicable mold components.
- Operates lift truck, overhead crane, and related equipment to lift, move, and handle molds.
- Uses micrometer, calipers, and fixed or adjustable gauges as needed to check that mold components meet specified tolerances.
- Sets up and operates various shop machinery including grinders, drills, mills, lathes and various hand tools.
- Must be able to complete job assignments in an efficient and timely manner.
- Other duties as required.
- Know where applicable system documents are located.
- Understand and complies with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, ISO, GMPs.
- Communicate system non-conformances to managers or supervisors.
- 3-5 years of related experience; preferably in Injection/Extrusion Blow Molding.
- Understands Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Must be a team player and able to demonstrate willingness and ability to provide assistance to co-workers.
- Basic mechanical skills and experience using tools.
- High School Diploma or GED;
Technical School preferred. Or equivalent work experience.

Pay Transparency StatementThe starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $27; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $27 and $37.
