Jobsite Superintendent - (Construction-Manufactured Homes)

ResponsibilitiesThe overall responsibility of the CCS Superintendent is to assist the Project Manager in the execution of projects. The ultimate goal is the successful completion of projects on time, with exceptional quality, and within budget.
Essential Duties- Take direction from the Project Manager for the execution of daily tasks.
- Assist in managing the flow of materials from suppliers and within the job site to ensure timely arrival and proper staging.
- Direct subcontractors and maintain a look‑ahead schedule.
- Inspect the quality of factory‑made work and subcontractor performance.
- Create punch lists and coordinate the resolution of punch lists with subcontractors.
- Assist in warranty work coordination; may perform minor warranty work.
- Maintain job‑site logs, including daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and safety documentation.
- Perform safety inspections per Champion’s safety plan and conduct toolbox talks with all trades.
- Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of local building codes (2009 IRC, UPC, IMC, 2011 NEC) is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, including residential construction and crew leadership.
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements and PPE usage.
- Ability to read drawing prints.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check; DOT knowledge preferred.
- Ability to perform physical work, lift tools and materials, and handle construction tasks.
