Laboratory Technician – GMP Manufacturing
Duration: 06 months Contract

Location:

Millsboro, DE 19966

Shift: Stretch of 4 – 10-hour days

• Entry-level laboratory technician role supporting production of veterinary products
• Perform critical laboratory procedures in aseptic/clean room environments
• Support cell culture processes throughout the manufacturing cycle
• Operate technical equipment in compliance with GMP and SOP standards
• Adhere strictly to safety policies and company procedures

• Perform aseptic procedures including media preparation, antigen inoculation and harvest, tissue culture preparation and harvest, and vaccine filling
• Maintain accurate documentation including charts, logbooks, and batch records
• Communicate unusual or non-routine occurrences to supervision
• Clean work areas and prepare, sterilize, and maintain glassware and equipment
• Set up and operate laboratory equipment
• Utilize embryonic eggs for virus propagation
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handle hazardous materials including isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, phenolic disinfectants, and oxidizers

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience with some laboratory experience
• GMP experience required
• Scientific background helpful
• Cell culture experience highly preferred
• Experience working in aseptic or clean room environments
• Experience using pH meters, Uni Fuge, measuring components, and following SOPs
• Prior SAP experience preferred
• Vaccine knowledge preferred
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to pass required physical abilities test prior to start
