Human Resources Assistant

Job Description

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with Saturday work when the plant is scheduled to run

The Human Resources Assistant provides essential support to the Employee Relations Manager and plays a key role in daily HR operations. This position serves as the face of the company for our hourly and salaried employees, staffing agencies, and potential candidates—offering guidance, information, and exceptional customer service. The role is fast‑paced, people‑focused, and central to maintaining smooth HR processes across the complex.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and accurate information to all internal and external customers
• Perform data entry and maintain employee information in systems such as Oracle HCM, UKG, and Oracle 12c
• Support daily HR administration, including documentation, recordkeeping, and employee inquiries
• Assist the Employee Relations Manager with routine tasks, follow‑ups, and special projects
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees, staffing partners, and candidates throughout the day

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate degree preferred
• Clerical or administrative experience required
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service abilities and a professional, approachable demeanor
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Comfortable working with databases and common HR systems
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
