Who We're Looking For:PEAKE is searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our Communication Services team. This role will be responsible for managing kit builds and coordinating customer equipment deliveries from end to end. You'll work closely with project managers, engineering staff, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure all project milestones related to hardware builds and logistics are executed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and track hardware kit builds, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely assembly.
- Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams (engineering, procurement, warehouse) to align on build requirements and delivery timelines.
- Manage inventory levels for kit components; work with procurement to address shortages.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules for build and delivery milestones.
- Generate and manage shipping labels, packing lists, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate delivery schedules and updates to customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Track and confirm successful deliveries, resolving any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of kit configurations, serial numbers, and customer shipment history.
- Support continuous improvement efforts around logistics, documentation, and kit standardization.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, logistics, or technical operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, inventory, or project management software (e.g., , Smartsheet, or similar).
- Experience working in a warehouse, technology, or hardware deployment environment is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in a team setting.
- Occasional regional travel, including periodic onsite visits with customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Hands-on project management experience; certifications (CAPM, Google PM Certificate, or similar) are a plus but not required.
- Background in technology deployment, telecommunications, or IT services.
- Familiarity with shipping tools (UPS, Fed Ex) and basic inventory systems.
- Previous experience managing customer-facing delivery schedules or order fulfillment in a public safety or military environment.
