Behavioral Health Aide – 16 Weeks Contract Assignment (Milledgeville, GA)

Join Senior Helpers as a Behavioral Health Aide for a 16‑week full‑time contract in Milledgeville, GA. The role provides nursing care under the direction of a licensed professional, meeting the personal care needs of patients in a healthcare setting.

Base pay range

$17.00/hr – $17.00/hr

Duration & Schedule
  • 16 weeks full‑time contract
  • Shifts:

    1st – 7 AM–3:30 PM; 2nd – 3 PM–11:30 PM; 3rd – 11 PM–7:30 AM
  • Location:

    Central State Hospital, Milledgeville, GA
  • Start date:

    ASAP
Requirements
  • Completion of a state‑approved certified nursing program and/or successful passing of a competency evaluation program that meets state regulations.
  • State‑specific certification as a CNA and possess unrestricted certification.
  • At least six months of work experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
  • Current CPR certification as required by client facility; other health and screening tests as required.
Responsibilities
  • Complies with ATC policies/procedures and client facility nursing policies/procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient care and facility practices in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
  • Documents patient care as assigned in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Follows the patient's plan of care as assigned and delivers personal care services to patients as assigned.
  • Records vital signs and other inputs/outputs as assigned.
  • Maintains competency by participating in continuing education programs and meeting state specific requirements.
  • Provides patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and may vary by assignment.
