Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Barrday, a manufacturer of composite materials, is in search of a Shipper / Receiver.
Barrday is a leading advanced materials solutions company whose product lines encompass applications for the composite and protective markets. We are headquartered outside of Toronto, Canada in Cambridge, ON, with manufacturing facilities in Charlotte, NC and Millbury, MA. Our growth strategies are based on developing technologically advanced fiber reinforcement, prepreg and other material solutions for our customers in the aerospace, military/defense, energy, industrial and protective markets.
SUMMARYThe Shipper / Receiver will facilitate accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all materials in and out of the facility while providing prompt and courteous service to all customers. Provide all raw materials to Production as needed. Data entry of all information received and shipped same day entry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Receive incoming materials and confirm the packing list is accurate based on the part and quantity received.
- Prepare documents, such as packing lists, bill or ladings, shipping orders, etc.
- Ensure the correct packaging of materials for safe shipment.
- Follow standard operating procedures to process shipments in ERP system.
- Invoice material referencing all shipping information and transacting materials from inventory.
- Drive forklift to unload and load trucks.
- Move inventory into proper location using a forklift.
- Verifyand maintain shipping records.
- Takepart in daily cycle counts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum high school degree or GED.
- 3+ years’ experience with shipping and receiving.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Individuals must be reliable, flexible, and adaptable.
- Good housekeeping behavior.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Good ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay range: $22-$25 per hour
