OR RN in Millbrook, AL

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to support a dynamic surgical team in Millbrook, AL. This contract position offers a focused and engaging clinical environment where you will utilize your skills across multiple specialties, including general surgery, gynecology, urology, and vascular procedures. Surgical robotics experience is strongly preferred as you will be integral to the success of robotic-assisted cases.

Responsibilities include circulating in a high-volume OR setting that features 6 operating rooms and 1 cystoscopy room, with a maximum of six rooms running simultaneously. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes while managing a 1:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. Central Sterile processing capabilities are also part of the facility, ensuring smooth operational flow.

Work Hours:

• 5 days per week
• Five 8-hour shifts
• Primarily day shifts

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent perioperative nursing experience in a non-travel role preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong skills in OR nursing with emphasis on circulation duties
• Extensive experience with robotic-assisted surgery across general, gynecological, and urological procedures
• Comfortable working with a variety of patient types including general, GYN, urology, vascular, podiatry, ENT, and pediatric dental patients
